Join our motivated team as a Material Handler in Detroit, Michigan! This position is vital to the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics processes. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of materials, ensuring their accurate movement, storage, and preparation for shipment. - Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Sort, organize, and stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer requirements.
- Prepare items for shipment and assist with loading outgoing trucks.
- Operate manual material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and utilize all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not required. Must be able to perform physical tasks including frequent Lifting. A strong commitment to Safety and teamwork is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and attention to detail.
