Our Seattle, Washington facility is seeking energetic and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dedicated team. This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately selected, processed, and prepared for shipment. You will navigate our warehouse to pick items based on order specifications and carefully pack them to ensure they arrive safely with our customers. Accuracy and efficiency are key performance indicators for this position. A rigorous adherence to all safety regulations and the consistent use of mandated PPE are essential requirements for this role. This position involves considerable physical activity, including standing, walking, and regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds. As a crucial component of our logistics network, your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational success. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to customer orders.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for outgoing shipments.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and update order status.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing productivity goals.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
- Perform tasks that require consistent lifting and manual dexterity.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or order fulfillment is beneficial.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret order picking lists.
- Capability for frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse and logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and correct PPE usage.
