Our San Antonio, Texas distribution center is looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from inventory to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packaging them for shipment. Precision and speed are key to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our operational efficiency. You will work within a dynamic logistics environment and must be vigilant about adhering to all safety standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE ). This position involves significant standing, walking, and regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds. We are seeking reliable, energetic individuals who are detail-oriented and thrive in an active work setting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Inspect products for defects before packing.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Utilize scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Strictly follow all safety procedures and wear designated PPE .
- Meet individual and team productivity goals.
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Perform tasks requiring consistent lifting and physical coordination.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in picking, packing, or order fulfillment is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand order documents.
- Capability for regular lifting and moving of items up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse and logistics practices.
- Commitment to workplace safety and correct PPE usage.
