Join our dynamic team as a Picker/Packer in our bustling San Francisco, California warehouse! We are looking for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy in fulfilling customer orders. In this critical role, you will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, accurately picking them according to order specifications, and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position is fundamental to our **Logistics** process, directly impacting customer satisfaction. We maintain a strong focus on workplace **Safety**, providing all necessary **PPE** and training. This role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth within our company.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or scanner readouts.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including applying labels and ensuring all necessary documentation is included.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all **Safety** guidelines.
- Operate manual equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock management activities.
- Adhere to all **PPE** requirements for specific tasks and zones within the warehouse.
- Contribute to efficient **Logistics** flow by meeting productivity standards.
- Assist with **Lifting** items up to 40 pounds as part of the picking and packing process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Must be capable of **Lifting** up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse **Logistics** and inventory systems is a plus.
- Understanding and adherence to **Safety** protocols and **PPE** usage is mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
