We are looking for a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This role is fundamental to our ability to meet customer demands by accurately and efficiently fulfilling orders. You will be responsible for locating specific items within the warehouse, ensuring the correct quantity and product are picked, and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy. Success in this role means contributing to the smooth flow of our Logistics operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or electronic scanner data.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect products for any defects or damage before packing.
- Pack items securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure packages are ready for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Adhere to all company policies and Safety guidelines, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily targets.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to following Safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE.
- Understanding of basic Logistics functions.
