About Ridge RTC
Ridge Maine RTC is a private, short-term Residential Treatment Center providing specialized mental health and substance use treatment for adolescents. Our mission is to create a safe, structured, and supportive environment where teens can heal and grow.
Position Overview
As an *Overnight Nurse (RN/LPN)* at Ridge Maine RTC, you will serve as the on-site medical professional during overnight hours, providing essential nursing care and clinical oversight for adolescents in residential treatment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, independence, and the ability to remain calm and responsive in a low-stimulus, high-responsibility environment.
This is an ideal role for nurses with behavioral health experience who prefer overnight schedules and value meaningful, mission-driven work.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor residents overnight, including vital signs as needed
* Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
* Conduct nursing assessments related to psychiatric and medical needs
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
* Ensure compliance with infection control, medication administration, and controlled substance regulations
* Respond appropriately to medical or psychiatric concerns during overnight hours
* Serve as the sole on-site medical professional, supporting and advising direct care staff
* Coordinate with on-call providers as needed
* Support admissions, discharges, or urgent clinical needs as required
Pay
* *LPN:* $30.00 – $34.00 per hour
* *RN:* $37.00 – $42.00 per hour

Schedule
* *Overnight Shift:* 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
* Weekend availability required
Required Qualifications
* Active *Maine State License* as RN or LPN
* Current *CPR and First Aid certifications*
* Ability to function independently as the sole medical staff on site
* Ability to remain calm, professional, and emotionally regulated in high-stress situations
* Ability to pass required background check
Preferred Qualifications
* Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience
* Experience working with adolescents or young adults
* Experience in residential treatment or clinical settings
* Comfort using electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office
