The Epic Applications Analyst provides first-level support for the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system by assisting users with troubleshooting, system inquiries, and basic application functionality. The Epic Applications Analyst is a key part of ensuring smooth day-to-day EHR operations by supporting configuration tasks, executing routine testing, and helping to maintain user satisfaction. The Epic Applications Analyst I collaborates with senior analysts to ensure timely issue resolution and contributes to the creation of training resources. Primary responsibilities include delivering technical support to all associates utilizing the Epic EHR, assisting in basic system configuration, administering routine system and quality assurance tests, aiding in the development of user-facing training materials, providing sessions on introductory training on EHR, utilizing the service management and ticketing system to track reports, updates, and incidents, and handling unresolved, complex, and critical incidents. Minimum qualifications include an associate's degree in information technology, healthcare, or business administration, one year of experience in healthcare, electronic health records system or IT support, and Epic accreditation in the required specialty within six months of the start date. Preferred qualifications include experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, relevant certifications, and basic understanding of Epic modules. Physical requirements involve sitting or standing for majority of time, occasional walking, bending, and stooping, long periods of computer time, light work that may include lifting objects up to 20 pounds, exposure to varied environments, communicating with others, visual acuity and hand-eye coordination, and may require travel to various facilities.
