Provides leadership within a team environment for all area(s) of specialization and product line. Leads the development of procedures to solve complex problems in their area(s) of specialization. Acts as a lead in a business and/or functional area to assist the user in defining their needs. Job Duties
Provides software leadership, in area(s) of specialization, on medium to large size projects as required. Maintains understanding of user, project leader, and management direction and meets regularly to review project priorities and scope. Functions as a coach and mentor to team members to achieve workflow standardization and design across the organization. Stays abreast of technological advancements. Researches and recommends new tools and alternatives to improve access and efficiency within the organization. Coordinates and leads others in process of unit, functional, and integration testing. Leads discussion in team and departmental committees providing data and system governance. Develops, leads/coordinates conventions, standards, and procedures to improve departmental function. Follows current project management methodology and assures all team members to do the same. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Information Sciences and Technology or Information Management related fields Preferred work experience will be considered in lieu of degree 10 years Progressive experience in Information Management or Information Technology or a related Healthcare field 2 years direct build experience on current EHR system version 1 year Healthcare project management and budget management experience Attention to detail and ability to assess business problems and develop feasible alternative solutions. Ability to work well in a team environment and to be self motivated and self disciplined. In depth knowledge of processes of assigned area(s) and applications Effectively deals with multiple and changing priorities. Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision and/or direction. Must be able to visit multiple business and education locations.
