We are seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers for our facility in Detroit, Michigan. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and have a strong eye for detail, this role is for you! As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications and preparing them for shipment. This role is fundamental to our daily logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Your main tasks will include: using order sheets or scanners to locate and pick products, inspecting items for quality, carefully packing orders to prevent damage during transit, and affixing shipping labels. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are required to follow established safety procedures and wear the necessary PPE. This position requires the ability to perform frequent lifting and stand for the duration of your shift. Experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial. You will work collaboratively with a team to meet production targets and maintain a tidy workspace.
