We are seeking motivated and reliable Picker/Packer professionals to join our dynamic logistics team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for retrieving items from warehouse shelves, meticulously inspecting them for quality, and securely packaging them for shipment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a warehouse setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or scanners.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Package products securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
- Perform inventory checks as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
