We are hiring a motivated Picker/Packer to join our vibrant warehouse team in Dallas, Texas! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment. Precision, speed, and attention to detail are paramount in this position. You will work with an advanced inventory management system to track orders and ensure accuracy. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, is adept at working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to maintaining a high level of productivity. You'll be navigating the warehouse, using scanners, and preparing items for transit. This role involves a significant amount of physical activity, including moderate Lifting of goods and constant movement. Adherence to all Safety guidelines and the correct use of PPE are non-negotiable to ensure your well-being and that of your colleagues. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using scanning equipment and order sheets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Utilize appropriate PPE for all tasks.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and scanning technology.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper PPE usage.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
