Join our growing team in Des Moines, Iowa, as a Picker/Packer! This role is essential to our efficient Logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and quickly. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items in our warehouse, gathering them based on order specifications, and then carefully packing them for shipment. Precision and speed are key attributes for success in this position. You will work within a supportive team environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our distribution center. We maintain a strong focus on Safety , and all necessary PPE will be provided to you. This job requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform frequent Lifting and moving of packages. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations
- Verify order details and product quantities
- Pack items securely for transit, ensuring product protection
- Apply correct shipping labels and documentation
- Maintain a tidy and organized packing station
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and procedures
- Proper use of company-provided PPE is mandatory
Qualifications:
- Previous picking and packing experience is advantageous
- Ability to read and interpret order forms
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding role with frequent Lifting up to 45 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of warehouse Logistics is a plus
