We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring that products are accurately picked from inventory and meticulously packed for shipment. You will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and adhering to all safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order slips.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Safely and efficiently pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor promptly.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Experience with scanning equipment is a plus.
