*Summary*
We are seeking a Charge Nurse to join our team at Venice Health and Rehabilitation Center. This pivotal role is located in Venice, Florida, and is essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while upholding our commitment to community-centered health services.
*Responsibilities*
*Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.*
* Provide direct patient care and assess patient needs for individualized care plans.
* Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient assignments effectively.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
* Educate patients and families on health management and rehabilitation processes.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
* *Qualifications*
*Registered Nurse (RN) license, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Florida.*
* Nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
* Strong critical care experience with proficiency in IV infusion techniques.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
* Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.
