*Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time*
*Monday – Friday 8am-5.30pm plus alternate Saturdays 8am-1pm*
*Salary: £36 000-£40 000*
*Birdhall Lane Service Station *has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT tester to join Stockport's fastest growing independent garage. We are looking for motivated and professional individuals who strive for the best level of service in all aspects of work.

*Skills and experience*
* Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair
* Proficient in using hand tools and power tools effectively
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
* Experience with vehicle inspections
* Understanding of safety protocols and regulations in a workshop environment
* Professional attitude
* Team player
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform thorough inspections on vehicles, identifying defects and/or potential issues
* Conducting vehicle servicing and repairs once authorised by the customer
* Complete all relevant paperwork and documents
*Licence/Certification:*
* Driving Licence (required)
* Relevant certifications in automotive mechanics or related fields are a plus
