Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Custom Software Engineering Manager in Mountain View, CA, and the job duties are as follows: Design, develop, and test custom software solutions across multiple system components or applications. Create implementation or integration approach for applications and components. Design and code applications in line with programming standards and interface specifications. Architect development strategy for applications and components. Coordinate development streams in line with overall program(s) timing and milestones. Build deployment plan, including the development plan and schedule, keeping in line with overall project timeline. Design, build, assemble, and configure application or technical architecture components using business requirements. Team with stakeholders on application and component design to secure buy-in. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Basic qualifications: Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of experience in the IT consulting industry. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in the IT consulting industry. Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: Utilizing Jira, Jenkins, Maven, and GitHub for DevOps and version control; Developing software applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful APIs; Managing databases utilizing PostgreSQL, MySQL, and IBM Db2; Leveraging cloud technologies, utilizing GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage; Testing frameworks utilizing JUnit; and Monitoring performance utilizing Splunk. Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs. Pursuant to the California Transparency Bill, the offered wage for this role is $264,514.00 per year.
