Capital Speech & Occupational Therapy is a 4,500 square foot pediatric practice in the heart of Tallahassee and serves as a regional center with more than a decade of serving children in our community.
Highlights include swings in 8 different locations, climbing equipment, a foam pit, and a new rolling slide and playhouse. We're collaborative, supportive, and value therapist growth in areas of interest.

*Qualifications:*
* Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Florida
* Strong communication and teamwork skills in order to collaborate effectively within our multidisciplinary team.
* New grads and experienced SLPs are both encouraged to apply
* Passion for evidence-based, play-centered therapy
*Skills Needed:*
* Evaluate and treat a variety of diagnoses including articulation and phonological impairments, autism, apraxia, receptive and expressive language impairments, and other speech and language delays and disorders
* Educate caregivers on treatment objectives and provide support throughout the patient's experience with our practice
* Experience in pediatrics
* Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals and collaborating with parents and caregivers.
* Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions.
* Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed, regularly communicating with families to involve them in the therapeutic process.
* Maintain documentation including SOAP notes, evaluations, and progress reports.
