Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Coordinator to manage our operations in San Francisco, California. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and enforcing safety regulations. A strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse best practices is essential. You will play a key part in streamlining operations, improving efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of our distribution center. A commitment to safety, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to handle complex logistical challenges. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and solve problems effectively is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping.
  • Manage and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and training.
  • Coordinate the scheduling and execution of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stocktakes.
  • Implement and enforce all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
  • Liaise with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth logistics flow.
  • Manage and maintain required PPE for all warehouse personnel.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
  • Address and resolve operational issues and challenges promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to develop and implement efficient operational procedures.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and experience with PPE requirements.
  • Physical ability to perform lifting tasks up to 50 pounds when necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
