Seeking a dynamic Shipping & Receiving Associate for our growing operation in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient flow of goods, both in and out of our facility. You will manage the entire process from receiving incoming shipments to preparing and dispatching outgoing orders. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks, including frequent Lifting. Your contribution to our logistics team is essential for maintaining timely deliveries and accurate inventory. You'll be responsible for upholding our high standards of accuracy and Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against documentation.
- Accurately record received goods into the inventory system.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate shipping software to generate labels and track shipments.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping and cycle counts.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe.
- Comply with all company policies, including Safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain operations of the company.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency with computers and shipping/inventory software.
- Ability to handle significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Understanding of logistics principles and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
