We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our busy warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is integral to our logistics network, ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our facility. You will be responsible for operating various types of material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods. Your primary focus will be on maintaining an organized and safe work environment. All necessary PPE will be provided to ensure your well-being. This position requires the ability to handle significant Lifting , with items often weighing up to 60 lbs. We value precision and efficiency in all our operations. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas
- Ensure proper stacking and securing of materials
- Assist with inventory counts and checks
- Maintain equipment in good working condition
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures
- Work collaboratively with other team members
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role
- Valid forklift certification is a significant advantage
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including frequent Lifting and moving of heavy items
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management
- Commitment to following safety regulations and using PPE
