Job Summary:
Join our team as an Inventory Control Specialist in Virginia Beach, Virginia! We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage and maintain the accuracy of our inventory. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control, from receiving and put-away to cycle counting and reconciliation. Your diligent work will ensure that our warehouse operates efficiently, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations. This is a crucial position within our logistics department, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately track and manage all inventory movements within the warehouse.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock levels.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between system data and physical stock.
  • Implement and refine inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to maintain up-to-date inventory records.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and prevent loss.
  • Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure seamless inventory flow.
  • Ensure proper organization and storage of all materials, optimizing space utilization.
  • Maintain high standards of warehouse hygiene and orderliness.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE and safe handling techniques, including any necessary Lifting .

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related Logistics role.
  • Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and best practices.
  • Understanding of Safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
  • Comfortable with tasks that may involve some Lifting .
