We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Washington, D.C. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a variety of essential tasks that keep our operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will span from receiving and stocking goods to picking and preparing orders for shipment. This role requires individuals who are adaptable, detail-oriented, and possess a strong commitment to workplace safety. You will be responsible for ensuring that inventory is handled with care and accuracy, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. A key aspect of this role is maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues. Strict adherence to all company safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position offers a competitive hourly wage and a consistent work schedule. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and moderate Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety principles and the importance of PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
