We are looking for a detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate to join our team in Durham, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders, from picking and packing to shipping. Your precision is key to ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time, making you a vital link in our logistics chain. This position requires focus, speed, and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately based on order sheets or scanner data.
- Verify order contents before packing to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely for shipment, selecting appropriate packing materials.
- Label packages accurately and prepare them for shipping carriers.
- Maintain an organized and clean work station and general warehouse area.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely as required.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order fulfillment, picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, and moving throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and wear necessary PPE .
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
