Join our thriving logistics operation in Dallas, Texas, as a skilled Reach Truck Operator! We are seeking experienced individuals to manage the movement of goods within our high-volume distribution center. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently operate a reach truck to put away and retrieve inventory at various heights. This role demands precision, a strong focus on safety, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Put away and retrieve inventory accurately from racking systems.
- Safely load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on the reach truck and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, ensuring clear aisles and safety compliance.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, cycle counts, and order fulfillment as needed.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure efficient workflow within the logistics department.
- Perform other warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment. Valid forklift operator certification. Ability to work at heights and operate machinery safely. Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Strong commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
