We are seeking a motivated and reliable Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from receipt to dispatch. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within our state-of-the-art warehouse facility. Your primary duties will involve receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and efficiently. We are committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and your adherence to all safety protocols is paramount. You will be expected to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and report any discrepancies.
- Stock merchandise accurately into designated warehouse locations using inventory management systems.
- Pick customer orders using RF scanners and other equipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic understanding of logistics principles. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all PPE requirements. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within our logistics network.
