We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Boston, Massachusetts. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring that our clients receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing hand-held scanners and other equipment to locate and retrieve products from designated storage areas. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently are essential. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety protocols. Your primary goal will be to contribute to the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our warehouse. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment for all employees. This includes providing the necessary PPE to perform your duties safely. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace. This role involves significant Lifting and the ability to stand for extended periods. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Use hand-held scanners to track inventory and update order status.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE .
- Perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations is beneficial.
