Become a vital part of our efficient operations as a Picker/Packer in Minneapolis, Minnesota! We are seeking diligent individuals who can accurately and swiftly process customer orders within our busy warehouse. Your role will involve navigating the warehouse to locate specific items, meticulously picking them according to order lists, and then carefully packing them for secure shipment. This position is a cornerstone of our Logistics process, ensuring that our products reach customers in perfect condition and on time. We are committed to a safe working environment, providing all necessary training and PPE to protect our team members. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and the physical capability for tasks including Lifting and moving items. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using order sheets or scanners.
- Inspect picked items for quality and ensure they match order details.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing and staging packages for shipment.
- Maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy in picking and packing.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of potential hazards.
- Follow all company Safety regulations and procedures.
- Operate manual and powered equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to adhere to all Safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE .
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics flow.
- Strong attention to detail to minimize errors.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
