Join our dynamic warehouse team in Orlando, Florida, as an Order Picker! We are looking for meticulous and energetic individuals to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be to locate and retrieve specific items from warehouse shelves according to order lists. This role involves navigating the warehouse efficiently, often on foot, and requires the ability to perform moderate Lifting throughout your shift. Your attention to detail is crucial in ensuring that the correct products are picked and prepared for shipment, contributing directly to our logistics success. Safety is paramount; you must strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and correctly use provided personal protective equipment (PPE). This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse inventory based on order specifications.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Use scanning devices to track inventory movement.
- Maintain an organized and tidy picking area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Meet daily picking targets and productivity goals.
- Assist with restocking and organizing inventory.
- Support overall warehouse Logistics operations.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting of items.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors about order status or issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform frequent Lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and PPE.
- Good organizational skills and time management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic Logistics procedures.
