Job Summary:
Join our team in Kansas City, Missouri, as an experienced Inventory Control Specialist! We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your responsibilities will include performing cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, managing inventory records, and contributing to the optimization of our inventory management processes. This role is essential for maintaining efficient Logistics operations and requires a strong analytical mindset and commitment to accuracy. You will play a vital part in our supply chain by ensuring reliable inventory data. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all team members to adhere to strict Safety protocols, including the appropriate use of PPE. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock levels.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve all inventory discrepancies accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain precise inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Develop and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize loss and errors.
  • Analyze inventory data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper product handling and storage.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away functions to guarantee accurate initial inventory recording.
  • Uphold all Safety standards and utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or related position.
  • Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Understanding of Logistics and supply chain management.
  • Ability to manage moderate Lifting and work within a warehouse setting.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dedication to maintaining a high standard of Safety.
