Join our dynamic team as a Shipping Clerk in Houston, Texas! We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to manage the outbound flow of goods from our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documentation, coordinating with carriers, ensuring accurate packaging, and maintaining a tidy shipping area. This role is crucial to our Logistics success, ensuring that products reach our customers safely and on time. If you have excellent organizational skills and a strong commitment to accuracy, we want to hear from you. You will be a key player in our supply chain, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, packing lists).
- Verify shipment details for accuracy and completeness against orders.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Ensure all packages are correctly labeled, addressed, and securely packed.
- Monitor shipment status and communicate any delays or issues proactively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping workspace.
- Strictly follow all Safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including shipping software.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Familiarity with general Logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Ability to handle moderate Lifting and prolonged standing.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to workplace Safety.
