We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage operations at our facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe flow of goods within our logistics network. Your duties will include supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory levels, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and implementing operational improvements. A strong emphasis on Safety is expected, with the responsibility to enforce all Safety protocols and ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all team members. This role requires the ability to handle complex logistical challenges and occasional physical tasks, including moderate Lifting. You will play a vital role in optimizing warehouse performance, contributing to our company’s overall success. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train warehouse personnel, ensuring productivity and adherence to procedures.
- Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts and stock accuracy.
- Coordinate daily shipping and receiving schedules.
- Implement and enforce all Safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Manage warehouse organization and ensure a clean, hazard-free environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and other departments to ensure smooth logistics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring team compliance with PPE usage.
