We are seeking diligent Order Pickers to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and precision directly impact our customer satisfaction and operational flow. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer order items from various warehouse locations.
- Use handheld scanners or pick lists to identify and retrieve products.
- Verify product information to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to order fulfillment and logistics.
- Wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Must adhere to all PPE requirements.
