We are seeking dedicated Fulfillment Associates to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. This role is central to our ability to meet customer demands, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders from receipt to shipment. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks, including picking, packing, and sorting items within our distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from shelves based on order fulfillment requirements.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection and presentation.
- Process incoming shipments, verifying contents and stocking inventory.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and staging for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and logistics.
- Always wear and properly utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics processes.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to adhere to all PPE requirements.
