We are looking for a diligent Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be responsible for the movement and organization of materials throughout the warehouse. Your primary duties will involve operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to ensure the efficient flow of goods. This position is vital for our logistics operations, ensuring that materials are readily available for shipping and receiving. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all Safety regulations and proper Lifting techniques. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Move materials to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Organize and store materials in designated locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Ensure materials are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety procedures and company policies.
- Operate all equipment safely, following established Lifting guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned work areas.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment issues.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and team efforts.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is a plus. Certification to operate forklifts is highly desirable. Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including significant Lifting. Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices. Must be willing to wear required PPE. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
