Join our growing logistics team as a Warehouse Associate in Des Moines, Iowa! We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to contribute to the smooth operation of our distribution center. Your duties will include a variety of tasks such as receiving and processing incoming shipments, stocking merchandise, accurately picking and packing customer orders, and preparing items for dispatch. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is paramount; therefore, strict adherence to all safety regulations and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and damage.
- Stock shelves and inventory locations according to established procedures.
- Accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor and workstations.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and possessing a positive attitude.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices.
