Become a vital part of our logistics operations as an Order Picker in Omaha, Nebraska! We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to accurately retrieve and prepare items for customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to navigate the warehouse efficiently, locate specified products using order pick lists or scanners, and ensure the correct items and quantities are selected. Accuracy and speed are key to this role, as you will directly impact order fulfillment times and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform frequent lifting and bending. You will work as part of a collaborative team, contributing to the overall efficiency of our warehouse and logistics network. Experience with order picking or warehouse equipment is a plus, but not strictly required as training will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Use RF scanners or pick sheets to locate and gather products.
- Verify picked items and quantities against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and wear required PPE.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy goals.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or equipment.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order information.
- Experience with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting (up to 35 lbs) and physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work at a steady pace and meet performance metrics.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
