We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team in Huntsville, Alabama. This vital role ensures that all incoming shipments are accurately received, inspected, and documented. You will be responsible for verifying quantities against purchase orders, identifying any damages or discrepancies, and ensuring materials are properly staged for put-away. A strong commitment to accuracy and safety is essential for this position. As part of our logistics operations, you will play a key role in maintaining inventory integrity and supporting efficient warehouse flow.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming goods against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices.
- Inspect all received items for damage or defects.
- Document all discrepancies and damages and report them to the appropriate personnel.
