We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our growing team in Boise, Idaho. This role is critical for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient management of our warehouse stock. You will be responsible for conducting physical inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and updating inventory management systems. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of organization, and a commitment to accuracy. This position is a key part of our logistics chain, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. We foster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain inventory stock in designated locations.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or overages.
- Assist with the put-away of received goods.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of all inventory items.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Follow all lifting and handling guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is a plus.
