Join our dynamic logistics team in Madison, Wisconsin, as a Warehouse Worker. This entry-level position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to gain experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and stocking goods, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Pick products from inventory based on customer orders.
- Pack orders accurately and securely for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring compliance with Safety regulations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving significant Lifting of materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and the ability to perform tasks requiring manual labor, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and operate different equipment.
- Strong understanding of general warehouse Safety practices.
