You will be responsible for conducting regular inventory audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing solutions to maintain optimal inventory control. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Manage the receiving and put-away process to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory accuracy metrics.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- May involve some lifting and physical movement of goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or logistics.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- Must be able to perform occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
