Join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in Houston, Texas! We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to support the smooth operation of our distribution center. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, involving a variety of tasks such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. You will contribute to ensuring that orders are processed accurately and efficiently, meeting our high standards for customer service. The ideal candidate is a team player, capable of handling physical demands including regular Lifting, and prioritizes a safe work environment. We provide comprehensive training and require the use of all appropriate PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Wear all required PPE while performing duties in designated areas.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals within our logistics framework.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment and safety protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
- A commitment to workplace safety and the consistent use of PPE.
