Provo, Utah – We are seeking skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operators to become an integral part of our logistics operations. In this role, you will expertly maneuver forklifts to manage the flow of materials within our warehouse. Your ability to handle diverse types of merchandise, maintain operational efficiency, and strictly adhere to safety standards will be crucial. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, pick, stack, and store materials throughout the warehouse.
- Accurately load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of items.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working order, reporting any defects immediately.
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures diligently.
- Use designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while on the warehouse floor.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, including counting and locating stock.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate effectively with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure operational continuity.
- Respond to operational needs as directed to support overall logistics objectives.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing safety training sessions.
Requirements:
- Current and valid forklift operator certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrable experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with general warehouse procedures and logistics.
- Capacity for physical work, including occasional heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong commitment to safety regulations and accident prevention.
- Excellent attention to detail and keen observational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a coordinated team.
- Punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
