We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will implement and manage inventory control procedures, conduct cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your commitment to precision is vital for our supply chain success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective inventory control procedures.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate receiving and shipping processes.
- Manage the return process and ensure accurate inventory adjustments.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
- Uphold strict safety standards, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Generate reports on inventory status, accuracy, and movement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including some Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree is a plus.
