Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in designated storage areas.
- Read production schedules, customer orders, or requisitions to determine items to be picked, gathered, or distributed.
- Assemble customer orders from stock.
- Mark or label stock items with identifying codes or date information.
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with company safety policies, including the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if necessary).
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations through diligent work and teamwork.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Understanding of general warehouse safety procedures.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
