Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse environment. We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our busy logistics facility in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse, load and unload trucks, and assist with inventory management. You will ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with strict safety regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate is a certified forklift operator with a strong understanding of warehouse operations, exceptional spatial awareness, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport products to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all logistics and operational guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and operate machinery safely.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions carefully.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and accident-free workplace.
