Job Summary:
We are hiring a diligent Shipping & Receiving Associate for our facility in Columbus, Ohio. This vital role ensures the accurate and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments. You will be responsible for receiving goods, verifying packing slips, inspecting for damages, and stocking inventory. On the shipping side, you will pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments.
  • Verify incoming goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Inspect shipments for damages and report any discrepancies.
  • Stock received items in their designated locations.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and scanners.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the use of required PPE.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to ensure efficient logistics.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Dedication to workplace Safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
