We are seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of warehouse equipment and infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance on machinery, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. You will work closely with the warehouse management to identify and address any operational bottlenecks or potential hazards. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance are essential. Experience with hand and power tools is required. A commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly work environment is paramount. This position involves significant physical activity, including Lifting of up to 50 pounds, operating various tools, and working in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Attention to detail is key to ensure all maintenance is performed correctly and documented. Adherence to all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Operate and maintain specialized warehouse machinery.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Uphold strict adherence to all PPE requirements.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the Logistics industry is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
