Responsibilities
Development and lead the Europe Go-To-Market sales strategy.
Lead sales team to meet or exceed commitments (revenue growth, market share growth, account profitability, and customer experience).
Ensure sales coverage aligns and is established to execute on strategy, and effectively manage resource utilization to help maximize revenue.
Build and develop the capabilities of customer service, account managers, field application engineers, sales managers & key account managers to execute on the go-to-market strategy.
Develop initiatives and localized teams to target improved customer service levers to meet required customer scorecard performance & customer satisfaction.
Build strategic, executive level customer relationships, demonstrate TE capabilities and technologies to the customer base, capture customer insights and translate into account / regional strategies to grow share.
Support Business Development and Sales Efforts, Account Plans and Strategy of Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 business.
Lead strategic customer growth through alignment with product management on share gain and new product development initiatives.
Lead cross functional alignment to drive customer contract negotiations aligned to TE business requirements.
10+ years Sales Management / leadership experience. Previous knowledge of the Aerospace and Defense market is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with a technical knowledge and discipline, MBA strongly preferred.
Demonstrated leadership in attracting, building, and developing large high-performing sales teams with a proven track record of success.
Strong Business, commercial, and technical acumen.
Ability to develop, articulate, and implement sales strategy to grow revenue and market share. Proven experience in developing effective regional and account strategies.
Capability in demand planning and sales operations.
Able to deal with ambiguity while still managing vision and purpose.
Demonstrated past ability to not only meet or exceed sales goals but outpace market growth.
Visionary thought leader and strategic thinker.
Collaborative, ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners within a global and diverse organization.
Analytical and strong problem-solving skills.
Strong sense of urgency and bias for action.
Knowledge of systems (Salesforce.com, MS Office, SAP, etc.).
Previous experience with American markets is desirable.
