Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA either as designated Quality Control technologist as under their direction. Dependent on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams, perform bone densitometry (DEXA) or perform breast related special procedures in conjunction with physician staff.
