Job Summary:
Our Miami, Florida facility is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics department. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data, which is vital for efficient warehouse operations and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting audits, and resolving discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, experience with inventory management systems, and a strong understanding of warehouse processes. Your contributions will directly impact our supply chain's effectiveness and our ability to meet demand. This is a key position for maintaining the flow of goods and information within our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting inventory.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff and other departments to ensure smooth inventory flow.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements.
  • Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies regarding inventory management and warehouse operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret data and generate reports.
  • Experience with Lifting and moving inventory items may be required.
  • Willingness to follow all Safety guidelines and wear necessary PPE .
  • Understanding of Logistics principles and warehouse operations.
